Main activities and tasks:
- Preparing and loading Cell / BSC / RNC / Femto / PANI-related data builds on MBCs to support Radio, Fixed Network, and 4G Network Expansion Programmes.
- Supporting BAU, WRF, and project data loading across impacted 2G/3G/IMS nodes, including Testbed, in alignment with Core Network Plans and Customer Change Management Processes.
- Working as part of a team to deliver more complex projects under the guidance of the Network Data Group Manager or a nominated Specialist Data Build Engineer, including supervising related project activities supported by Junior Data Build Engineers.
- Reviewing and validating Core Network Plans as part of Data Build Quality Processes.
- Conducting data validation/auditing processes and interactions required for new element integration.
- Supporting network operations in troubleshooting customer-affecting failures to reduce customer lost hours; this may include formal Call Out Rota.
- Ensuring data integrity across the network (audits) using Ericsson mobile network core data build techniques across 2G/3G/IMS nodes.
- Updating CRQs in accordance with TUK OPE Guidelines, including adding notes reflecting the current status and completion/cancellation of CRQs.
- Owning and controlling implementation activities for low-impact and low-risk changes.
- Operating as per QMS (Quality Management System) procedures.
- Performing Quality Control processes according to set guidelines.
- Ensuring quality targets are met for owned processes.
- Following all customer change management and incident processes.
Required Education & Trainings:
- Desirable: BA/BSc degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in voice core data building using Ericsson equipment.
- Strong technical background in Telecommunications and Data Network configuration, with an understanding of all key mobile network elements.
- Strong knowledge of data script building tools (e.g., Ericsson) and Ericsson IMS core data build techniques.
- Experience with Planning systems (e.g., Magnet Plus).
- Experience with Remedy Change Management and Incident modules.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written (Level A).
- Willingness to travel within Europe if required.
